When people are asked what they would have done differently in their life at their deathbed, most people would say that they wish they have spent more time with family. Certainly, not many people would say that they wish they have spent more time at work.
Yet when you look at the people around you, many people are working. How many of those are working because they choose to work and how many of those are working because they cannot afford not to work? I would say that the majority of people are working because they cannot afford to work.
When I was travelling from Birmingham AL to Atlanta GA, I took an airport transport van as I did not have access to a car. The driver was a gentleman in his 50s and I was the only passenger. For the entire two-hour journey, he talked about his life - a life of wanting to be rich and not working anymore. Now, he is still driving a van trying to make ends meet. I certainly do not want to be like him.
When I asked the driver how much he needed for him not to work anymore, he said that he would probably need a few millions, but he didn't really know. So, what is the difference between the driver and someone who is successful in reaching the phase of financial freedom? It is about having a goal. Once you have a goal, you will be able to find ways to achieve the goal.
Having a goal, however, is not enough. You also need to have a timeframe. By putting the timeframe into the equation, you will soon realise whether the goal is realistic. For example, if someone sets a goal of having $10m within 12 months and all he earns $30,000 per year, this goal may not be a realistic goal.
If you have a goal and a timeframe in mind, you can start to explore ways to achieve your financial freedom.
One option that requires minimal cash outlay to achieve financial freedom is Internet Marketing. You can check this link to find out more. Good luck and I look forward to you reading my next article.

Financial Freedom Journey -- The Start
Financial freedom is a phrase a lot of people when being asked what they want to achieve from their investing activities. Yet, most people have no idea what it means and what steps they need to take to achieve it.
I have been to numerous seminars in the last few years and I am still working. Why? I did not have a plan.
This is the start of my journey to financial freedom and I want to share it with everyone who wants to come along with me.
